Yeah I think I was tripping when I first saw it. This is the very first photo I took that looked wrong to me ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411495789.811079.jpg

But looking at it again you guys are right it is blue shading. I think the light was bad when I first saw it and made it look like a black smudge.

Looks fine.

Found someone to fix my star though and add the two super small touches of missing paint and fix the red smudge on my shield.

Really I just a new house so I can move this guy off the box in the corner of the dining room into a proper display room!

He looks fantastic anywhere. :lol

Yes he does! The issue is more I'm nervous having him where he is because he can't be there when we have company or he will get knocked into. I don't have any proper safe shelf space left without boxing something else up. But since I'm moving out within the next 3 months, I'm not going to fuss around with moving stuff. In fact, after I box him to up to get repaired, I won't even bother taking him out again until I move into my new place in February or March.

Yeah, that is a good plan. I am also running out of space for my collection. I try to organize them by teams/company (i.e. - Marvel X-Men, Marvel Avengers, DC, PCS SF, PCS MK, Star Wars) but with XM, I am thinking of giving them their own display section/cabinet since they are such high quality pieces. It might mean that my collection expands beyond the one bedroom it occupies now. :lol

Hey mate, I'm interested in a cap screaming head.. Any left?

sent from the boss seat of the DeLorean

Technically yes.... I have two left. Someone on the board was supposed to buy them both last night. Haven't recieved their money. First come first serve. If you want it you better jump on it. PM sent.

To all this interested in my Cap portrait I appreciate your support and interest. This private commission is now sold out!!!!!! Will provide updates as he goes into production. Thank you to all of your support!!!!! It is truly appreciated

^ Congrats on selling out Tavegg. Can't wait to get it and see what else you guys come up with!

Yes... yes I do need those.

In other news, taking my Cap star to get fixed on Saturday. This XM statue and it's insane quality is messing with my head though lol. It's so glorious I keep over scrutinizing and finding other things.

I'm not even gonna say what I'm seeing. If you see something I'll know I'm not crazy. At least not about this lol

Does it matter whether the we see it? Yes I see it. But since you are already getting your Cap on work, why don't you get all the issues you are seeing fixed at the same time? In the end, you are the person looking at yours.

Is the cut line next to the star even fixable? I'm really ignorant about this stuff.

I don't know anything about fixing statue, but I don't see a reason why you can't just fill the cut then paint it.

Well it's kinda sorta a cut... it is almost more like a molding line or something... I guess if that's the case it has to be cut away and repainted... I'm mostly nervous that the guy who is doing the repairs, while coming highly recommended, won't be able to match XM's quality. We'll see. To be honest if nothing happened it's still an amazing statue I am very happy with, it's just so damn expensive you want it o be perfect, you know?
