Sculpts were based off of artgerms art, artgerm(stanley lau) is asian and his style is on the anime-ish side, xm studios is an asian based company where Im assuming asians work at. On a contract that cant sell directly to the US. Bam there's your answer!

I am talking about the ssc Cap: AC and more specifically the portrait. I guess that was lost on you. lol. Even if I were making a comparision to the xm one, which I wasn't as it was a hit on the reference that cap looked old, (which is preposterous)

OK it may sell out, given enough time... it's been out for quite a while now and still available for PO... what i meant was the secondary market value on this piece will not be much higher than it's retail (about $750 USD shipped if you know someone from Singapore).. still willing to bet your collection on this point
Yeah dude I am. Your talking about a company that hasn't even released a single statue yet. How many people do you think are foaming at the mouth for this but unwilling to commit because we haven't actually seen actual in hand pics? Look at what happened to DP when SS released him. No one was talking about that statue till in hand pics were show and then boom regular sold out in less then a month. Plenty of people got burned with iron studios IM release. It was plagued by a horrible paint app and left a bad taste in many people's mouths. If this statue comes out looking like the pics we have seen there will be a whole new wave of people trying to get their hands on one. Watch the price of this go up. Its inevitable
This isn't a custom. Its a fully licensed marvel sculpt drawn by Stanley whom happens to be one of the most popular artists in the business today. He has done a handful of SS statues as well. I've had plenty of customs. The quality is never that of SS or any other leading company in this industry and they are twice the cost

Well that's mighty optimistic.... I think more company's making statues means more options, means lower resale value for everything, means no more 2000$ for original PF's. All good news to me.

I think at this point the only place would be through another collector who preordered early to get the coin. They only made 200 coins for each piece and they mentioned over on the statue forum boards that they were all gone. That is why my shop isn't able to offer the coins. Sorry about that.
