I will admit I almost PO SS Allied CA...I really like it...BUT putting that next to the ss holy grail and the new xm piece..I am afraid he will look like CA young son playing in a sand pit!!

I thought this one had the baby face. SS is the Daddy.

IMO it is a no brainer which has the better portrait. The detail and even the ears! I'd be all over the XM one if they had a more detailed, less asian, portrait.

I think there just two great different artistic representations of the Captain. I think both are awesome

I nearly bought the XM version but the SS one will much better fit into my collection being that I prefer mixed media over fully sculpted pieces. If I wasn't blown away with so many pre-orders I would of bought both to be honest but I'm definitely excited for XM's Wolverine, now that's getting ordered day one

I'm just happy that there's finally a 2nd option for 1/4 Marvel pieces.

I'm sure XM are adding a 2nd HS we haven't seen yet unless I miss read it but I wouldn't want to pay all that money to have to buy a custom head on top of that as well but that's me

The new "more realistic" headsculpt is being made for Black Widow. Not Cap.

For me, if there were no pouches on his belt and his head sculpt had a more realistic style to it, I would have POd this piece day one. That said, I still think this Cap looks great. It's just a little off for my personal tastes. However, I can totally see peeps that ordered this being very happy with it. It's an impressive and dynamic looking statue.

IMO I think XM went with the comic book look with their statues, where as SS is more of a realistic sculpt of the comic book character. I think XM is realizing people want a more realistic look thus the added portrait to Black Widow... Wouldn't be surprised to see them go with more realistic portraits in the future or at least give two portraits one cartoony and another realistic to make everyone happy They seem to be very flexible and seem to listen to feedback from collectors.

We should be using this updated pic as a comparison for the 2 instead of the old mock up. Less "asian" and more thinking in the moment look

SS face is better but i dont like the hemlet or the chin strap.

XM Cap is faithful to the comic, as bowen statues, AC Cap is an older man dressed in Captain America.
