I've recently decided this is a statue I must own. The pics look amazing and I've always loved Cap. I can't pass on this piece. That being said, what do you think is the best way to get this being located in the US. I understand simplytoys is a bit cheaper than secret compass, but I thought I read that if you get a defective statue (unlikely, I know) from simplytoys, you're out of luck. Any tips would be helpful.

For me personally, I'm going to stick with Secret Compass and/or Speculative Fiction, I know they will help take care of any issues if anything happens to the statue... That said the packaging on these statues are so good it might be worth the gamble to save $80-$100 by ordering from Simple Toys

To be exact the difference between St and SC is that if you have an issue and you ordered from ST you would have to do all the legwork and incur the additional cost to remedy the issue. You would have to contact XM, send pics and ship it back yourself.

If you order from SC and you have an issue they take care of the legwork for you without any added cost to you. Of course SC will cost more then ST. So the question is, do you like to gamble?

Thanks for the info. Is SpecFiction's policy similar to that of SC? I had never heard of SpecFiction before so I'm not too familiar with them. Thanks for the replies.

I wish they did this for everyone. They shot me down and told me no shipping discount. Also charged me the full amount when they said they had them in stock on May 29th. I know it's XM having issues getting the stock but as the vendor they should have checked first before taking full payment. I was going to continue using them for XM pieces but now I will have to look elsewhere.
