I actually liked the SSC one but if this had come out at the same time I probably wouldn't have even cared for the SCC version. Some people might say XM's looks too busy but I like to think SSC's one looks too lazy lol.

Looking forward to this one and Storm. I'd still like to see at least the phoenix bird part of this as a translucent or translucent with paint for light-up display. Maybe that will be offered as an option or someone will produce a short run.

I was just thinking the same thing, but I'm not crazy about the painted flames. I said the same about GR. I always prefer the translucent flames, but I know it's not easy/nor practical in a lot of these cases, but man, I can still dream.

Aside from the old school Fantastic Four dio that Sideshow did, none that are licensed to my knowledge.

I don't mind the look of the painted flames. My biggest issue with it is that because these flames are painted and green Phoenix has colored resin flames, they will not look very good together, which is sort of the whole point if you're someone is going to own both versions.

Good point.

One problem with painted flames is it makes them look more solid which in reality they are not - just burning gas.
