We call that pose...

"The End".

Perfection.

:lecture

I need to measure my space and see if I can fit this piece.

I'm slowly working my way out of this hobby. This would be a heck of way to go out.

I don't know, man. It's seriously getting exhausting with the amount of releases and how there's always something bigger/better, etc.

Need to get picky, man. Can’t get all of them.

That’s a perfect answer. I seriously go about looking at what pieces I can relate to how well they have turned out. Edition size. If I had the space and unlimited money I would still choose wisely. I’ve never bought an Iron piece yet. Until recently I New I was going for Hulkbuster XM and the new Iron Man Mark III Maquette SS. I probably won’t buy another in years.

It's not so much about being picky, as much as it is the quality and visions keep getting better and better. Years ago, I would have thought that the OG Spider-Man PF was as good as it would have gotten. Then we got the SS Comiquette, then another PF (which I think is the best Spider-Man to date.) That's the part that blows my mind. There's no 'definitive' piece anymore as quality, materials, visions, etc. gets better and better.

Exactly. I only have the XM classic Iron-Man in my collection. That's the only one that I loved so far. Now I want the SSC Iron Man Mark III Maquette, too. That Maq will serve as my modern Iron-Man. ...And because of that I probably won't buy another classic or modern Iron-Man for awhile.

Sideshow nailed that Maquette! I just hope the QC delivers! Probably 50 50 but praying lol

Good point! I absolutely love The Cinemaquette Predator but I think XM have toppled it with their one off Predator. No references to worry about. The sculpt is insane along with the details in paint.

"Here are some pics of the Hulkbuster being produced and it is on schedule to be shipped this year. We know it has been quite a wait for some, especially those who pre-ordered in advance at our STGCC or last year LUCCA 2017 event in europe, but take heart for Hulkbuster will turn out real fine. It is maxed out at ES 999 and we have stopped taking any more orders beyond this ES. Thank you for the support and for loving this piece as much as we do!"

Same here my man. I can actually afford it but I just can't bring myself to spend that much on one statue. It would make me feel so selfish. I have a wife and 2 sons and can't help but think there's a better way to spend that much money. The sad part is I've spent so much more than that on my collection. :lol However, dropping 3K at one time really makes you think.

I LOVE these in production pics when they are posted. It just gives us collectors a little taste of how these things are produced (which I think is pretty cool).

Yeah, I think it's pretty cool myself. It's not often you get to see what's going on behind the scenes.

Yeah I do realise that this is out of a lot of collectors price range. But when you really look at it you are kinda getting 1/4 iron man also. The fact you can display this in so many ways is awesome also.

There's no doubt you're getting A LOT of statue for the price. The retail price on this isn't so bad considering that fact. I think I did the conversion on this and the retail price in US dollars came out to about $1900. That's very fair when you compare it to the IA HULKbuster that costs about the same and doesn't come with another Iron Man. It's the shipping costs that are going to kill on this piece. I can't even imagine how high they are going to be on a piece this MASSIVE. That's ultimately what knocked me out of the running and pushed the price out of my comfort zone. That said, this is the Iron Man statue to end all Iron Man statues IMO and I'll definitely feel jelly of anyone who's got one in their collection. I'm just going to have to enjoy this piece through everyone else's pics.

My wife and I just had our second son. 3k for a statue now is a ton. But 3k into a college fund for them both and by the time there in college that 3k will be 10k.

This hoby is just getting too expensive. :( But the art work has trippled in the last few years. XM IA iron studios are all putting out some amazing pieces. Sadly sideshow is still.... Well.... Sideshow. The thanks statue is the best piece they released in the last 4 years. And it's plaged with QC issues.
