I may be in the minority but I think this statue looks tight as ****.. I do not like the Prime 1 new 52 version metallic paint or the statue in general, this is by far the best Flash statue on the market for US buyers to date IMO. Personally, I am cool with the 1/6 scale, I'd like bigger but I do not think SSC will do better than this when they finally release their own PF, and since SSC corners the market I don't see any other company doing better besides XM themselves at 1/4 (prime 1 next flash will be 1/3 scale which I don't want), but since they don't have international license at 1/4 scale I'd have to pay high import prices for it, whereas I can just order this one from BBTS for a smaller fee. Its a no brainer for me atleast

I ended up ordering this after seeing these pictures. It looks a lot better without the treadmill console. The suit isn’t my favorite still, but it’s badass.

I like this a whole lot...If I have someplace to display it by itself...think it will look odd with the other 1/4 statues.

The mysterious power known as the Speed Force is an energy field that has, over the centuries, granted incredible powers of velocity to certain heroes. The most famous of these is the Flash, also known as the Fastest Man Alive. The Flash has mastery over not just speed, but time itself, and he has often used his powers to travel though different eras and even into other dimensions. Although the Flash has not always been fast enough to outrun personal tragedy when it has come for him, he always does his best to prevent the same from happening to the people of Central City and Keystone City. In so doing, he's earned himself a spot among the greatest Super Heroes the DC Universe has ever known."

Amazing looking statue but I just don't think I could give $500 for 1/6 scale.

Not a fan of the shiny New52 suit Prime 1 is doing. The wait for a classic Flash in 1/4 or above goes on.

Yup, exactly. The wait for a 1/4 scale classic Flash statue continues.

The paint used for the costume seems too glossy to me. Gives it a “plasticky” look. Not a fan of the Rebirth costume at all, though that’s not XM’s fault. I still don’t like the gold lightning bolts either. I think it looks odd that they match the color of the gold on the suit and I don’t feel they’re really necessary on a piece that’s already so busy. Too much there to take away from The Flash.

That said, what I’m surprised by most is how good the treadmill and vortex look. They were the parts I liked least when it was first revealed but they came out great. The treadmill is really well detailed and looks cool breaking apart and the vortex is very well painted and eye-catching. Really makes this statue stand out overall.

Interestingly, Flash in Bmutha's review looks glossy compared to the XM Studios pics.

I was put off by the glossy look in that video, though watched Gem Mint's review and it looked more matte, which was nice though the vortex didn't stand out as much. Could be a matter of lighting.

:dunno

Could be lighting. Or maybe Bmutha wiped the statue down. Not sure....
