It was 15% off an inflated price, which was still more expensive than what BBTS was selling for.

Wow, and it looks like his price was $1000 if paid with a deposit or 900 paid in full up front. Add shipping in and it's really no cheaper at all than my order from simply toys. Even with 15% off the price wouldn't be much cheaper, certainly not at $1000 too.

Still a little bummed I didn't get a coin due to Simply Toys policy of giving prior orderers preference, despite my getting an order in almost immediately after the PO went up, but it's not that big a deal and it won't concern me at all once Magneto takes his spots in my living room.

Taking that company off my list, don't deal with gougers on pre-orders.

Actually it doesn't make sense, top cost says $3,000 but actually in the buy option A says $900 + Shipping due now.

Buy it and hold them to the option A if it were me....make a stink, bet they cave since there's a discrepancy on their part and you know they sell for $900 range and they know it too.

I think the $3000 is a typo. Drop down choices are $900 +shipping (one time payment) or $999 + shipping w/$150 downpayment. Still pretty high though.

This is ridiculous, retailers shouldn't be able to gouge customers like that. Specfiction should get their XM reseller rights revoked. Using shady business practices like this ultimately ends up falling back on XM, even if they aren't complicit. That guy will have really hurt his reputation because of a quick buck on this statue.

For the record, no retailer outside of the licensed zones are authorized by XM.
