Went down to XM STUDIOS to have a look, WOW JUST WOW.
I cannot stress how much better it is in real life.

Hah. Lots, but most were at a computer. Was very frustrating needing to go back and forth around the building/stage/lot but the inbox continuously beeping and not letting me move. Even still, would go through 2-3 full charges in a day. So I definitely feel for kayorzz. I figured it was a lot of emails he was getting, but I admit that number is higher than I expected. I suppose between statue forum, here, wherever else he does business and his personal life, Mark is a very popular guy at the moment
Good to know though, because I was getting a little concerned when some of my emails went unanswered for a couple of days. But knowing the volume he is dealing with gives peace of mind when waiting a while for a reply.
Back to the statue at hand... those pics from XM Studios look so fantastic. I just love the attitude of this piece. I assumed I would use the helmeted head most, but the unhelmeted sculpt just oozes character. They really got the tone of Magneto down. Really can't wait to get this piece. As excited as I am for Cap, Wolverine and Thanos and potentially Phoenix, I think I am most excited for this one. And that's saying A LOT because as characters I love Wolverine and Thanos more than Magneto and in general I don't care for statue sculpts depicting a character seated. But everything about this works.

Taking that company off my list, don't deal with gougers on pre-orders.
Actually it doesn't make sense, top cost says $3,000 but actually in the buy option A says $900 + Shipping due now.
Buy it and hold them to the option A if it were me....make a stink, bet they cave since there's a discrepancy on their part and you know they sell for $900 range and they know it too.
But don't worry it's a steal with %15 off

Not sure what spec is thinking. With that said the most underhanded thing ever done to me was by BBTS. I preordered the original suit Hot Toys Batman from them. Waited several months, then they sent me an email that they didn't get enough. Hence, they cancelled my preorder. At that point, the eBay prices were too high for me to pick him up. One month later, BBTS had some in stock for double the price. Complete jerk move. They have been good to me otherwise, but I don't trust them anymore.

ladies and gents i want to apologize…i contacted spec fiction initially just randomly and the guy replied…i told him about our board and how a bunch of us were interested…i asked him for a discount, since it would be a bunch of us ordering..he told me 15% off…anything I posted was directly related to me from him…as people had purchased from them before and their name had buzzed around, I trusted. I haven't had a reply back since I think Friday or whenever the quick sell happened, and I am sorry that I put that out there like that and it wound up being bs (clearly by the 3 grand outrageous price)…I wouldn't normally air this type of stuff out but felt compelled due to the way everything went down...
