Does anyone know if the helmet is removable? If so, what does the head look like underneath...is it smooth?

If it is, I can easily fix the fit to my liking. Would rather XM do it, but it's doable.

It wont be,it'll be glued on - he would have no hair underneath and we would have seen pictures. Personally , there's nothing wrong with the helmet.

I think it's pretty clear that the top half of the helmet flares out at the sides...I would rather it didn't. I guess it doesn't bother most people.

It does a little, not enough to make the statue look off and the unmasked head is better anyway. It makes more sense that he's sitting in the chair after a battle contemplating. The whole feel of the unmasked head suits the statue better IMO.

I would have to agree...the unmasked head is better at this time. The unmasked actually looks great in the most recent pics.

For me the 3 best XM statues so far:

1. Hawkeye

2. Thanos (wait till you see the finished base design...according to XM)

3. Magneto

Can't wait to see the finished base for Thanos, it's better be the skull base, don't like the space base.

Hawkeye #1? It's a great statue no questions about it but #1 seems kind of high for him lol...

Phoenix would have been in Top 3.

Yeah the list would be different if I was just going by most wanted character. Then it would be closer to yours:

1) Thanos

2) Magneto

3) Wolvie (brown and yellow version...not the blue and yellow).

The wait for any 1/4 scale Mags was painful. The wait for this XM Mags to be added to my collection is excruciating. All I can think of is after such a long wait, we finally and truly have a 1/4 masterpiece to add to our collections. The XM Mags may just be the very best statue in my collection. These photos from the show have me drooling. I am still blown away by how good this piece looks.

I agree. Though I failed to get one, I feel this is possibly the best Marvel statue ever released. A true masterpiece, period.

I know I am about to get shot for this...it's taboo to say anything bad about the piece, but hey, I have an invested interest...

I still think the helmet sits too high on the head.

I have very crude Photoshop skills, but in the pic on the right I move the top half of the helmet down to where I'd like to see it.

It seems I am the only one who sees this...but, I'd like it to be fixed.
