I agree with all those who have concerns about the helmeted head being one piece now. As soon as I saw it, I thought it was a step back. Although I do like the overall look of it, it was nicer to see it as two pieces. It looked less like a statue. I have confidence XM will figure out how to do this right. They have gone above and beyond to give us everything we want. Don't know if they'll be able to continue doing that for long. They'll never get anything into production if they're trying to fix every little gripe that people have.

I'm OK with etching out a nice sized groove to give physical separation. I hope it isn't just a black line paint illusion.

If peeps are unhappy with the final result (and we should give XM a chance before we go ape ****) I'm sure they will just include both versions of the helmet head. They have already proven to me that they will give the collector the best statue collecting expereience and in this case that would be the only solution. The same thing happened with the ARH Conan dio after PO's were in when they introduced two additional heads and wanted to give buyers a choice. They ended up including all four heads.

Keep the faith future Magneto oweners. You WILL have a GRAIL!!

Even if you trust them you should always voice your thoughts and concerns IMO. Do not have a knee jerk **** THEM reaction but I think its good to critique what we are shown. Hasn't that been what we have done all along? Why change that now?

I honestly don't know...it looks like maybe they are giving the cape around the shoulders a bit more volume?

Remember the reactions when they changed his face with him looking off to the side? Almost the same kind of reactions were seeing now and look at what ended up happening. Yea, I wouldn't worry about . Not with XM

I totally feel you on Mags. I missed out on the PO completely when Mags went up for PO. On top of that, the same weekend he went up, I had an out of town vacation planned with the family. NO internet service where we were at. I couldn't believe the timing. Thankfully, a great friend and forum member here hooked me up. He let me have an extra Mags he had, at his cost. I was floored by his generosity. Like you though, I'm very anxious to get him in my hands. It all feels a little surreal until I have him displayed in my collection. I know I have nothing to worry about. I'm dealing with peeps I know and they have stellar reps. However, Mags will literally be my 1st XM piece and I can't wait to get that experience under my belt. Congrats on scoring Mags tray. I understand your excitement and anxiety.

That is a huge score, big grats on that find. I hear you on containing your excitement but it must feel good knowing you have one on the way.

Exactly. It's a different feeling. You know you are part of an exclusive club and that club cares about what they are delivering to us. I love everything about the XM philosophy. Great statues, fully sculpted, low ES, make changes based on feedback, and they all appear excited in what they are doing....I'm loving it!
