Oh no, I got the context of the original post that was talking to the people who are buying more than one. I honestly think the lions share of guys who buy this will keep it in their collection for years to come. What I was saying was that I had an opportunity to get it from Secret Compass this morning, but I choose not to because I have no connection to the character, and I would have ONLY bought it to flip it.

Oh man, this company is blowing me away with their amazing pieces and low ES. LOL they took a little dig at Sideshow when they said "We don't like to repaint our statues another color and call it a new statue. We would come up with a brand new sculpt." Friendly competition is awesome. This is a great opportunity for Sideshow to start slightly lowering their runs and get back to quality and improve their shipping boxes and paint. I would pick up Magneto in a second from XM if I were a fan. I WILL pick up a Spidey from them if it's a killer sculpt and low run. Forget these es 9500 pieces that are flooding the market. I have never been so excited about a statue company since the first time I discovered Sideshow back in the day.

It's been reported some retailers sold out fast, still, any active member has read six ways to Sunday how to secure a piece for themselves all day, everyday, for at least a month. I do feel for inactive people who try to secure one of these later, that secondary market price is going to be horrifying.

There is a public service announcement almost daily to tell people to get their order in early. I think Simply Toys is will be the best bet for price and availablity, BBTS will sell out in minutes. I suspect SpecFiction might last longer since he seems to adjust his price base on demand, so I am guessing it would cost the most there among retailers.

Well good for you, man. I actually did consider getting two myself, a second one for my office at work. Would have done it if I knew how the eyes/head/helmet will be in final. Still not sure so I didn't do it. But there will be peeps out there waiting to see cheapest retailer and they will miss the boat.
