ok, forgive my ignorance, but where does BBTS ship from, or do they direct ship from the manufacture? if so where are these made?

I see the Hulk is still up for preorder, but though it looks good, not a huge fan of it. Now as for Phoenix, Magneto and Wolverine.........them are totally major homeruns imo.

I've always gotten mine, been Pre-Ordering from BBTS for over 2 years now.

It's certainly possible that bbts might not be able to fulfill a preorder. It's happened before, but it's rare, and they try hard to track down a source. Figma Link and Samus are good examples. They put up preorders, then a bit later sent out emails saying they lost their supplier and couldn't fulfill the preorders, took them down. Then later after the item was released I believe they said they were able to find a new supplier and put orders back up that they fulfilled.

XM statues are produced in Asia (not sure if in Philippines or China though) and BBTS ships from the US.

However, we make monthly trips, sometimes as much as every 2 weeks to inspect the quality and ensure the outcome is good. Great post just hope as they get bigger they dont loose the QC aspect by making thousands of statues instead of hundreds, I think thats the reason why people are willing to spend more in North America because the QC is top notch!

lmao…I think its a combo of the QC, but also, and more importantly..the DESIGNS…that wolverine proto that came up, even unpainted, looks insane! As does magneto! To boot SS hasn't done a mags yet (god only knows why) and their wolverine, while good looking, could be improved, and was so long ago many new collectors would like a wolverine. In the case of phoenix, she hasn't been done, the sculpt looks great, and I think the face will be improved and look even better come PO time..its the design thats got me, and that they're making awesome characters look awesome…wait and see IF they do characters like rogue and storm and tell me they won't make them look X times better than the SS versions..not hating on SS but wait and see if x-men line to x-men line comparisons in 3-4 years time won't speak volumes.

I feel the same way. SS really had little to no creativity with the X men line. they just threw it out there. It's funny to see how they can have a whole part of the website dedicated to the court of dead with character bios and intent for the line and a unified theme pouring full of creativity. Yes, I am very impressed with what they plan to do with that line. At the same time its hard understand how they could pour so much talent and energy into that line when they have not done MAJOR characters like Magneto or Phoenix. Just crazy. I love the creative approach XM is taking! Im in this for the artistic creativity. That's where my money tends to flow.
