Got my Troy head yesterday. It arrived safely with no breakage. It came in a nice strong styrofoam container with smaller pieces of styrofoam in between the strands of hair. Not sure if the people who received broken ones got those spacers. Paint app is pretty nice. Very slight overspray at the hair line. Might touch that up if it bugs me. No googly eyes. Head is a little small as everyone has said. I think the effect is also exaggerated by the fact that the chest is arched outward on the statue, putting the head further back. Given the results, I guess I would have preferred that it not cost as much as it did.

I posted these pics on StatueForum, but wanted to share here as well. I'm still blown with the beauty of the sculpt along with the translucent resin. I added some small puck lights to illuminate the inside of the resin too.

Be aware these are high res pics :) enjoy :)

Amazing! Was thinking of doing something similar with mine. Great pictures lotus. :clap

@ Jad1216 , Whoa:) you have more light than I do for the Translucent parts. I used small Puck LEDs about .7 watts each. How many watts are your LEDs? Do they produce heat? Looks great, but just worried if they produce heat to mess up Translucent resin.

I bought the lights from Ikea. It is 3 led light connected to a wire. The reason she looks so bright is that I taped the light to the wall behind her. It actually illuminates more of the Phoenix then placing the lights on the statue itself. You cannot see the lights unless you move the statue.

Those are the same LED puck lights I bought. They are .7 watt each. So they run cool. I actually placed inside the base shining up. It looks more fiery on yours by using more pucks. I may do that on mine too.

Here is how mine looks
