Same goes with SS with Spook emails, half the time nobody gets them and even if they do, by the time they get the code expired. I agree it blows if that's what you were waiting on, but like you said and everyone has said time and time again since Magneto dropped - if they want a piece they better secure one as early as possible. Waiting until the last minute to try and shop for the better deal may cost you.

I don't even know if it is most guys waiting around to get a better deal persay (well okay maybe BBTS). I think a lot of guys have problems taking a PO from a member on a sight because of the fear that the PayPal protection period would be over months before the statue was even shipping. So they cling to the security they get from ordering from an "established" brick and mortar store. If you think about it ordering through Kenny and Mark goes against just about everything that we generally do when it comes to ordering collectibles. However, I have had so .

This is one case where I think a repaint would be perfectly acceptable. Maybe the angry head sculpt with whited out eyes.

Looks good, cant help thinking you're ruining the work XM did for it, its like wasting their paint time to make something that they will mabey make in the future anyway but better for a dark phoenix i for one am gonna wait like a good boy for their Dark Phoenix with new design I am sure it will come in time :S
+ is this not what Shorudan meant with hes post at statue forum give the chance to the poor guys that really missed this. Because right now you are just redoing what is already an perfect statue.

This is just my opinion, and I am sure a lot disagree and sure its their money anyway to buy two but I agree 100 % with Shorudan give other sa chance too.

seems phoenix is the most popular since everyone is already anticipating yet near to impossible to get one, unlike magneto a lot were caught off guard.

As I said before they'd have to be pretty stupid not to release Magneto or Phoenix... Yet we still suffer from obscure choices like Bucky Cap and Skaar ...

I wouldn't be surprised to see SS show a Phoenix by next years Comic Con if not sooner. That said Jean Grey PF tanked so will they really want to risk revisiting the same character? Not to mention the Marvel/Fox feud might step on themX-Men production air hose (which was apparently a hold up with XM). So this is a case of a bird almost in hand. Fans have asked for Phoenix, Magneto and others for years only to get crickets from Sideshow. Now XM produces them and they sell out in a day. And XM might have been able to sell 1500 or 2000. Hard to say though. I still have the Jean Grey PF on order because she's a favorite and I'm hopeful that the in hand will look better. I would also absolutely buy a Sideshow Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. But frustrations aside, Sideshow is ultimately going to release the characters they think will do the best. So will just have to see.

From the list above I'd go for a Jim Lee Storm even though I have the other two. Dazzler would be great but highly doubtful.

Tbh I like jean grey SS but i am a huge fan of her so you know its me, is she perfect no but still good looking and that suit she is wearing is not the most detailed you know. I alwayz liked new x-men outfit xD

I like the idea but this just makes me solidify my choice for the green Phoenix. I just like the contrast better. Too much of the red on Dark Phoenix. In any case it will still be interesting to see what they come up with in the future for the Dark Phoenix.

Meh, To me this is the perfect Phoenix. What makes XM so different is they tell a story with each piece. I am extremely confident even if Mark Newman did Phoenix we wouldn't get a firebird that rocks. SS seems to be focused on cutting corners these days or putting all their creative talent into COTD. For me at least, that's why im not worried.
