Passing on SS Thor and Catwoman, will be saving my money for this Thor & Magneto. Probably will cancel apoc also while I'm at it to fund these 2. Would be nice if they did a modern Thor variant of it though.

Yeah, I think SSC is missing out on a HUGE market. If they made a fully sculpted 1/4 line instead of making 1/5 Coms (which SSC admits no one is really buying), they would be adding a lot of $$$ to their bottom line. Peeps are starving for quality 1/4 fully sculpted pieces.

Paying an arm and a leg for a singular representation of the character is worth it, even if it would end up costing double the price of a PF I wouldn't have to buy any other iterations of the character.

If I am not mistaken this Thor will cost almost $850-$950 to be shipped... At least I think that is about the cost of Cap. So In other wards you could get 2 of the SSC Moder Thor, or 1 Classic SSC Thor. Heck you could get a commission for that price.

I like how this company came out of nowhere and completely ripped Sideshow in half. They've managed to outclass Sideshow on all their statues so far, going by the prototypes. Finally competition worth speaking of. Maybe now things will actually be taken seriously, such as QC.

It's not really competition since XM Studios can only ship to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. I would guess it's part of their Marvel licensing restrictions..

shipping to North America is about $200USD, at least that was what I was quoted.

I was quoted about $200 in shipping as well so not really. As far as the price of a custom, they easily go over $1500 for a 1/4 scale that's without shipping.
