XM's Alliance Project 2016

Just saw this posted in the other forum...

Remember the fun discussions and debates over which design submissions for Blackbolt, Doc Strange and She Hulk were best in XM Alliance 2014? Well the good times are BACK! The XM Alliance 2014 contest encouraged exchanges of ideas via polls and discussions; and TOGETHER with the collectors community, XM Studios had the extreme honor of producing these 3 community designed statues. We've already shipped BlackBolt off to 2014's winner/designer with Doc Strange and She Hulk following soon after, so to continue XM Studio's tradition of encouraging creativity and community participation, we are excited to present 2016's Alliance Project Theme - “Hulk Transformation”! In order to create a more efficient judging process and elevate the quality of submissions for 2016, we are calling out sculptors, traditional or digital, professionals or hobbyists to create their interpretation of these 2 words "Hulk Transformation" into a sculpture form (The line art process has been dropped).

The last contest had a lot of photo manipulations and the like.... This one looks to be challenging a different group of fans

This one is definitely not a fan contest. All the pro sculptors will be doing this one. It will be interesting to see what comes out of this. I just hope it's not another green.

I'm hoping its not green as well, but since there was so much negative feedback about the first Hulk I wouldn't be surprised if green is what we get this time around.

I am not sure about that. I don't think that those who have already worked with XM will be aloud to compete, at least not their stable of artists as that would be unfair, and a lot of the pros will be tied up with other projects to risk working on something for months with no guarantee of a paycheck. Not saying some won't, but I doubt as many as some would think

I understand all you're saying, but not many casual people are going to be able to make a production quality sculpt like XM is asking for is all I meant.

Yeah I get that m8... I started to sculpt about a year ago and this would only be my third/fourth full body sculpts. Trust me though I think if a concept is good enough XM will work with an artist to make it production worthy. With that being said... I'm in

Well as done as it will get before the deadline.... Still needs work, but if I win that won't be an issue. Lost a lot of time as my grandmother just recently passed away

I really hope to get a chance to finish this for XM , but if it doesn't happen it will still get done... This was a blast and my first full body piece.

Looking good. Maybe you can bring the three together and ditch the one beneath the jeep. Move the partially transformed Hulk closer to Banner's right but at a little backward angle. Have the fully transformed Hulk looking backward thus only his back is shown when looking at Banner, and is to Banner's left. That would be a nice 360° view for all.
Oh and ditch the jeep too, lol.
