You've made great strides, Spidey. My only complaint for the design is that this statue would be the size of a house!

I think if you cut the width in half by bringing the different transformations together and ditching the back half of the jeep, you would still get the idea, but it would be much more manageable. Of course, it would still be a crazy deep statue, but not also wide. Also, I don't know how you reconcile the transformation under the jeep conceptually when the I transformed is front and center. It might be best to settle for three instead of four. The only thing I could think of is swinging the jeep forward and have the untransformed be the trapped one.

All that said, it looks really good. I'm not trying to take away from that.

Looking good. Maybe you can bring the three together and ditch the one beneath the jeep. Move the partially transformed Hulk closer to Banner's right but at a little backward angle. Have the fully transformed Hulk looking backward thus only his back is shown when looking at Banner, and is to Banner's left. That would be a nice 360° view for all.
Oh and ditch the jeep too, lol.

Thanks for the C&C guys ... If I win I am sure tha XM I'll have a lot of edits for me... So we shall see. Again thanks for the suggestions and the praose

So I started to play around with some switchouts for this bad boy... please excuse the lack of detail on a few things, but one file was completely corrupted ... going to have to go back to the drawing board on a few of the smaller details.

Congrats spidey, looking forward for this and all other entries.

One thing I found weird of the contest is that one of the judgement criteria was for the sculpt to be as "productable" as possible, so to say. Considering that there are a ton of great artists that don't have much know how about casting and keying, I found it a bit restrictive, especially since the contest is aimed at "amateur" (non professional) sculptors mostly. Hopefully it's not too relevant for the winner's choice, I'd hate to see a great concept being canned for this

Banner's pose needs to be fixed, it looks too stiff or something can't quite put my finger on it, but he kinda looks like he's posing like Gumby? lol The real problem is I don't know what exactly he's trying to do in the pose. Hulk looks great though in the back, but Banner in the weird pose in the front is too distracting. Also you need to done down the arm size on Hulk, his 2 arms combined would be thicker than his Torso which wouldn't make any sense.

"Finally, news on Hulk Transformation Contest! We have finished our internal first round of consolidation and review. Many of the concepts are interesting and unique in their own way. Our plan is to post the submissions on Statue Forum to get a poll to get community feedback. We will not be naming the participants (for anonymity reasons). Another update will be due this week - likely before Friday. We are very excited about this project and can't wait to show everyone the submissions!

Hey AJ... Good points... Banner's pose was inspired by this classic panel

I will say I have been struggling with the flow of the pose, and it is a little stif. I am going to keep working on it. As for the Hulks arms I will take another look at them for sure. The torso is quite thick in this one render, but I will definetly look at it again when I get back to the detailing.

Maybe make banner caved in more and blown back into the vehicle so he's laying in it to convey that? His coat also has to be flailing completely back and not flowing in anyway up towards the front if you want to convey impact and being blown back by an gamma bomb explosion. Distorted face would work also in this favor.

Sorry AJ I actually have it similar to the original panel where the force is coming from behind hence the rocks flying off of the front of the base. At least that is what I was going for ...lol

Spidey976, I know you weren't in the final 4 of this contest but I still think you had a great concept. Continue doing what you're doing. I remember looking at some of your early custom head concepts for other statues in this forum and you've come a long way.

I 100% agree. The growth Spidey has shown is incredible. Stop to think that he's only been at this for a short while....his work is really impressive.

Thank you very much guys. To be honest I am all good. Now yeah I wanted to make the cut, and before there was ever a cut there was talk of all pieces being shown, but in the end that isn't what this became for me. I wanted to do a kick butt piece, and I think I did. Now I am going to tweak some of the piece, and add more detailing to it, and we will see what happens with it. Honestly, I may finish it and then take Hulk right out and make a separate standalone statue of him.... You never know... Someone might want him. I really do thank you for all you kind comments and support it means a lot. Oh and just for fun
