It definitely looks like the whole blade lights up in the Calendar.

Crazy things happen from the time a picture is taken to the time it is published *photoshopped* in a calendar. :horror Damn SS meat-eaters! :banghead

I think I would wait to see it in-hand though before I cancel, could turn out alright. :lecture

This could've been a 10, but with the half-lit blade, I say 8 tops. I know that very few people will have it on all the time, but it looks broken when it is on.

thank you for the link. very dissapointed with the light up effect. I wish they did not bother with it at all and saved us a few $$. The statue itself is very well done otherwise.

So torn. I have it on Flex, I love the dynamics of the piece... but the saber is hurting me...

Which will bug you more? Eating that $20... or paying $350 for something that looks defective when turned on?

Seriously, how often do you turn your PF's on? And following up, for what length of time would you then leave them turned on?

I understand the complaints about the saber not being lit the whole way through-- but look at the piece... :horror

One of my favourite moments from the PT with Yoda in action with my favourite version of the clones (the 501st). For me this is a no brainer and a keeper. I understand where others might see it as a step back and far from perfect, and I agree, but I still love the look of this PF.

God this piece is amazing.

I will own this piece some day. I don't use "action features" on my statues anyways. :)

It was a cool moment, but Yoda will always be an old hermit living on Dagobah to me. I'm old school. :D

Seems like an issue with some of the PF line. Ive seen a few like this. Even though you dont turn it on much doesnt make it ok.
SS is such a good company but it surprises that they dont fix the issue with the sabers.

is it a let down? yes.
... but it wouldnt stop me from buying this piece if I was interested... :monkey1

Not. The. Point.

This is: It should have been at least $50 less, without the lights. The light-up feature doesn't work/display properly. But at $350 you're still paying for one that does. This same thing for $275-$299 without electronics would be a no-brainer. But at $350 with half-assed lighting? Sand-pounding time. Pretty simple, really.

Seriously, some of you have absolutely no sense for value... and Sideshow (and other companies) take advantage of that all the time.

Thanks for pointing out what we should and shouldn't like. I'll e-mail you what I'm planning on having for supper and you can let me know if I should enjoy it.

If you have massive problems with it that's fine-- don't expect everyone to jump in the same boat. Some of us actually like to think for ourselves. :duff

we all agree the light up feature sucks, and it stings a bit that I am paying an extra $50 for it.

But, if SS had announced this for $350 without a light up feature, I would still get it.

Is it $350 for the light up feature or because we are basically getting two pf figures in one ?
