That's Exactly What I've been trying to say all this time.... Jeez...

they don't care, there are no "parties" there are corporations paying these "Spokesmen"
voting doesn't count, does not matter, Voting does not matter at all, the electoral college decides who is president, how do you think Bush got in power?

sometimes it amuses me people fight for either side or think that their vote counts, :rotfl

corporations own this country,

Divide and conquer.

I think it's naive to think that one man can't make a difference. But you actually have to try to make a difference to get change. Unfortunately, we didn't see that last election (despite me voting for it), instead getting just a bunch of excuses, and I don't think we'll see any positive changes if he continues this election. Though for the worse vs. the better, even Bush got change in his last few years despite the Democratic majority in Congress. So Obama, with the democratic majority has zero excuse. He's a professional bull____ artist. It's time to see what someone else can do. Unfortunately, it's another dip____. But I'd rather give a new dip____ a chance, than deal with the same dip____ and not go anywhere for another four years.

Problem is, when Obama came in, it wasn't "the other side," they were all the same side.

Democrats had 3/4 majority in both the house and senate?

it always makes me laugh when people in the street ask you to sign up to vote, and then give you a dirty look when you say you dont vote,

people act like you are some delinquent for not voting for a president, when voting makes absolutely no difference, not only because like I said electoral college chooses a president like with Bush,
but really you are choosing between rich people, how is my "vote" going to make any difference,

it is like a screen, like magic, keep the public entertained, make thing think they are in charge, hilarious :rotfl

tell me this is a lie?

this is exactly what goes on

Individuals (I won't specify party) in the California state senate blocked a bill because they wanted something worded as "is" instead of "are." I've zero doubt that that's a small picture of what happens in Washington. :monkey1

They didn't have the Super Majority, but they had the Majority Vote. :wave

I think the Senate was tied except for a couple of indies.

Yes, they did have the majority, for at least a while, but you need 3/4 vote for some things.

Oh, and there's been times when the Reps have had the majority and didn't get things done either that they said they would.

It's just a vicious cycle.

a lot of democrats voted against what Obama wanted no? I remember seeing that, they kept saying to to stuff he wanted passed,

That's the problem though. They can't even agree amongst themselves. I don't want 4 more years of that ____.

LOL and that's the problem with republicans, that they are united, even if their plan is horrifying,
that is something they do have though, republicans never go against each other like democrats do, even if the plan is for example to blow up Hawaii, lets say, they will all agree if there is money to be made or power to be gained :slap :lol:lol

if they want to get something censored or banned they work together to achieve it, well, I've seen that happen for the most part

So you're happier with them voting down party lines all the time?

You're going to have four more yeas of ____ no matter who gets in. Same ____, different day.

the electoral college votes are based on the popular vote of the state. if you live in a big state like California or New York you may be right that your vote wont make a difference when it comes to presidency or representatives but when it comes to propositions or state legislations those votes can and do make a difference, especially on hot button topics.
