Just listened to the 911 call. Is that right proceedure for the operator to hang up on the caller when they're in hysterics and claiming to have just escaped a kidnapper? What if something happened before the cops got there?

He was talking to one operator and she was talking to another.

I doubt with all those people around, anything would happen to her. From what he said, the street was full of people.

Yeah, it seemed very odd to me. I just watch tv shows, but your would think the operater would also have asked more pointed questions, like if she knew her kidnappers name or something. (EDIT: Just read the transcript, glad they asked this information)
Also, I found it odd that the victim knew she was all over the news.
