I can't stress this enough. If you are a collector and a big fan of Spider MAn then the bust is it for you!

I got my Spidey 1:1 a few weeks ago. Also after much deliberation and an opening on my scheduled budget (Boba PF cancellation). A very cool piece. It's perhaps the most accurate Spidey bust (based on the McFarlane source material) because of it's simplicity.

Screw Boba, Spidey lives with me now.

I saw Boba in a comic shop and I just was not feeling him. I had him on order but cancelled shortly after the ABS debate of 07. I think I made a pretty good choice. The one very noticeable thing about Boba that bugged me was the lean.

Hmmm. Good question. The US version is much truer to the character, or source material, but the international one can look pretty neat. Overall, I think the white eyes do make the bust pop more. I also don't really care for the international version raising the ES but that's besides the point.

By the way, since we are in a thread where anything goes, does anyone dislike the way they made Venom look for SM3. I always pictured him to look like he does in your sig Solid but the movie version seems to be puny. I call him little head Venom.

I agree. To me Venom should look bigger than Spidey. It should be battle of jock Vs nerd. In the movie they made Eddie Brock a nerdy-whinny-skinny framed guy. I expected them to cast someone build like a football player. Like a young Howie Long or something.

I also don't like that in the previews you see the sharp teeth on Eddie Brock. The whole Venom symbiote entity is like a mask/second skin. He doesn't change/transform into a monster.

I never really cared for the Venom character, the movie design is okay, but I agree that he should be bigger and should not have sharp teeth. Raimi is definitely taking too many liberties with him, but is right on with Sandman. Regardless this movie will rock!!

Yes, exactly. Scary how we think a-like on this one.

Venom is supposed to be HUGE. Eddie Brock is supposed to be a dumb jock. And the mask is definitely part of a costume that forms over him. The Symbiote binds itself to Brock and Parker and does as it wants. Damn Hollywood:emperor
