An instant classic halloween movie. Already a tradition every halloween. The first time i saw this i thought, its like a tales from the crypt movie. Which is a good thing in my book.

truth. i just picked up tales from the crypt season 1 and 2. so awesome!

I despise this movie with every ounce of my being. Hopefully AMC doesn't have a hard-on for this movie like they did last year. It was on almost every time I turned on the television. :monkey1:monkey1:monkey1

Why do you DESPISE this film? It has an interesting formula and really picks up steam about 45 minutes into the film.

Awesome. Tales from the Crypt was one of my fav shows. I have a couple of series, really want the first season. But they've never been released here in the UK so i have to pick up the region 1 boxsets when i can find them cheap enough. LOVE that show.

It's what I'd call "Disney horror." Great if you're a prepubescent teen at your girlfriend's house looking for a clean fingernail and a bad case of stink finger. Utterly lame if you prefer your horror to have more "grown-up" taste.

Did you watch the film in it's entirety? It's a good movie. Very well made with great performances from most of the cast.

Why do you say it's Disney Horror?

and why is it not "Grown-Up" enough up for you?

It sounds like you popped in the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and were expecting to hear Six Feet Under. If that's why you think it's bad, that's your own fault.

Um... no. I watched the whole ____ing piece of garbage. Goofy ghosts running around and Michael J. Fox playing "Ghost Whisperer" screams "Disney Horror." If you can't see that, you're blind. But I don't even know why I'm debating this with you. Kiddie horror fits right in with your kiddie toys. It's a no-brainer you'd have a hard-on for it. :monkey1

It's funny how you get all butt hurt that I despised that movie. I wasn't putting you down for liking it until you replied insultingly. But hey, I don't want to drag this out into a flame war. You keep name calling and enjoying your kiddie horror!

Okay....well my 2 cents

Trick R Treat!

I've never seen this movie but a lot of Freaks here like it so it's in the queue and I'm saving it for Halloween weekend.

I wanted to check out the new Nightmare on Elm St. and Splice but I rent from Nflix and it seems they won't be released until after Halloween.

A good werewolf flick! Well worth your time. Here's the few I've seen so far:

30 Days of Night - Dark Days (awful)
Let Me In
Dark Night of the Scarecrow

I'm saving Trick R Treat, like many others, for Halloween weekend.
