i don't really like to read. my favorite book that i can re-read is The 3 Musketeers by Dumas. i wish i knew where my copy was. i'd like to read it right now.

The old lady who lives across the street from my parents gave me six oversized volumes of his collected works from 1893. Illustrated hardcovers. The covers have lost most of their gold leaf, but the pages are solid. Something like ten novels in all. The Three Musketeers is one of them, as well as its sequel.

They're the best books on my shelf, after my soft leather complete Oscar Wilde and my 1892 illustrated complete John Milton, which has the most spectacular embossing on the cover. There's an auction up right now on ebay (https://cgi.ebay.com/Complete-Works...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50) for the same edition, but mine has all of the leaf in tact.

I have the first volume of the Marvel Dark Tower comic and I can't read it because I haven't finished the seventh book. But it's been so long since I read the other six, I feel like I have to re-read them now. Sucks. The third Marvel volume just hit the shelves.
