Dredd is actually probably the least important movie on that list. A good movie, but there's nothing "important" about it really.

For it being a solid movie all around, is something to be proud of. There hasn't been a solid movie in a very, very long time.

That, and Looper both were special in that regard, actually.

Hobbit good but more of the same...nothing special or new(I think LOTR trilogy up there with original SW trilogy)
TDKR was, for me, the best and i think it will better be appreciated as time goes on like so many classics.
Avengers was great because of aspects of the heroes franchises coming together in one film made it special- the "bad guys" were very weak, to me. I think it was IM3 because Stark carried the entire film and had alot of great guest stars

Huh??? The Hunger games made it on your list but End of Watch didn't??? :cuckoo::slap

From the ones you have listed, Avengers and TDKR both sit in first place for me..

my father loved that movie. He had me watch it with him when I was home for the holidays. It was a good mindless rental. Not anyone's best work...but it was entertaining.

Tower, Korean movie. International releases are so underated. The movie is better than every cryable (spelling) movie combined.

Normally, I don't bother asking other people about stuff, but I do want to get a bit of a consensus on a couple of films. Tonight, two of my local theaters are each having a screening of two different films at the same time, and they're pretty much the only showings for either film, so I'm kind of at a loss for which I want to see more. Moonrise Kingdom or End of Watch? Any help would be much appreciated, freaks.

i've seen them all and i enjoyed The Avengers the most followed closely by TDKR
