This is true in a way, considering it takes place the hours before Leon & Claire show up.

I'll stick with Resident Evil 4. The REmake and RE2 would be tied for second.

I know re1 2 and 3 so well I can play them blindfolded I bet.

I didn't mind the RNG, it gives you a new experience every time you play it... and you need to adjust your strategy accordingly. Luckily, I got the Grenade Launcher at the RPD instead of the dumb Magnum.

I just rather have it be consistent...you don't go through a few RE games, then return to an older one expecting a red herb that was there, return after Nemesis killed you, and find it gone. Same with ammo

In my heart its 2 but in reality the REmake is really the perfection of the RE formula.

too bad most of you guys never got to play Dead Aim, with the Namco Gun. a totally different experience.

Dead Aim was horrible.

I... cannot decide.

RE4 for technical gaming (the action, horror, game design variety -> AAA title well-deserved).

RE3 for heart-pounding nostalgia (thank you Nemesis).

RE:Outbreak for the hopeless civilian atmosphere (vanilla RE with no pretense of a "grand" story).

Now if RE:CV got the REmake treatment, then maybe that might just edge out those 3 for me but until then.... decisions, decisions...

Dead aim had some pretty cool monster designs. In fact all the dead aim monsters were cooler than anything in RE6...even the tranny tyrant

I played it very briefly, since the Zombies were incredibly boring and monotonous to me. It sounded like they moaned "Ohhhhh Gawwwwd" over and over.

Dead aim had some pretty cool monster designs. In fact all the dead aim monsters were cooler than anything in RE6...even the tranny tyrant

That **** was creepy for the wrong reasons. Pretty sure Capcom was high or something with that tyrant. Though the theme that accompanied the tyrant wasn't too bad.
