Thought on Indestructible Hulk?
Thinking of ordering the next time around…
Thanks! :wave

Sorry. Didn't see this until now. Both hc are excellent. Waid had stepped up a notch while writing daredevil and now hulk. I think you'll like it. Poblem is the next hc isn't out until next year!!!

Also Ed brubaker's 'Fatale' is amazing as well as his first 'Velvet' issue. Also loving Greg Rucka's 'Lazarus'!!!!

Lazarus looks great. I'm gonna give it a shot.

Revival was amazing. Everything I want in a "zombie" story.

Just picked up this Captain America one-shot distributed exclusively to Army and Air Force Exchange Stores worldwide in 2011. I think it's fun to have a Cap comic sent to the US Army that promoted a movie that did the same thing.

I've just got the second Aquaman hardcover as well as the second Wonder Woman too. Have been loving Johns on Aquaman and agree, I'm not looking forward to him leaving the book. Do you know which issue is gonna be his last? Obviously I'm quite behind as I'm reading the title in trades but its nice to see Aquaman getting his beard and starting to look a little like his more classic older look.

Also, I find it quite a slap in the face that both volume 3 of Justice League and Aquaman are pretty much the same due to the crossover. It's gonna be annoying having a book missing in my collection but there's no way I'm buying the same essential book twice.

Went & picked this lot up from the LCS today...

Went for the variant on Guardians 8 as the standard cover is awful.

Also grabbed a final 3D Villains cover as it's pretty creepy...

Issue 25 will be his last book. Yes, he does have an older look or "beard" due to time being passed due to a certain situation that arises which I won't spoil for you. Stick with it you won't be disappointed.

Yeah that's the problem with trades, that's why I prefer single issues instead of trades when it comes to crossovers events.

No way, that sucks he's leaving so soon. :( hopefully he'll be working on something as good. He's become one of my favourite writers.

Yeah crossovers are a tricky thing I guess when it comes to trades. I'll probably just go straight from volume 2 to volume 4 and pick up the extra couple of issues in between, it's just annoying as I have the rest in trades and will feel like I have a gap. Never mind.

Anybody interested in a #1-12 run of chew? Issue 1-2 are second prints. 3-12 are firsts. If anybody is interested let me know. Otherwise it'll just end up on the Bay.

Thanks.

Just about half way through the first compendium of "Invincible" and I have to say, I'm not really digging it. :( Not yet, anyway...
It's going in so many different directions I find it hard to keep track of it all sometimes.
I wish they would tie it all together with a big "ka-boom" and then focus on the real story, which to me would be
the relationship between Invincible and his father. Learning the real truth as to why he (his dad) is on Earth.

I still have one and a half compendium to read so this might still be a possibility :exactly: Fingers crossed.
And please, no spoilers :1-1:

I've read the first 15 issues and I loved it. Still have the other 6 hc to read. . Playing catch up is bad some times.

Just finished Pride of Baghdad. Simply remarkable. I will read that many times in my life.

Any recommendations?

Nice haul right there that is :)

I got these today:

And the dust-jacket itself!

Freaking awesome :) :yess:

Indeed, that dust-jacket is damn cool. :hi5:

Question 'bout the Civil War book though. Is that some kind of omnibus that contains a specific arc in that event? I thought CW was so huge you had to get several. :slap

As I understand it this book contains the main story, 7 issues written by Mark Millar… And a whole lot of extra material.

Then there is a lot of side stories, tie-ins, if you will.
Some have gotten good reviews, some not so much ;)

If anyone have any pointers on what other Civil War books to get, I'l gladly except! :)
Is there a book that leads up to this event worth getting?
Herd the Spider-Man one is good.
Love spider-Man so I'll probably pick that up anyway!
