That's a really cool sale. I got the batgirl book as I had most of the others anyway. It's a really great price though.

Just got green arrow 25 (can't wait to read), and detective comics 25 and action comics 25 (just because they're part of the zero year tie in) and forever evil 3. Not read any yet though.

I've also just bought the first volume of animal man after reading the first issue and falling in love with it.

Just read Wonder Woman volume 2: Guts. Really enjoying this take and can't wait to read the next volume. I don't know a whole lot about Greek mythology but I always loved the old Greek mythology movies like Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans, and this seems like its in a very similar fashion.

I have the first two volumes. It's really great.

Just about half way through the first compendium of "Invincible" and I have to say, I'm not really digging it. :( Not yet, anyway...
It's going in so many different directions I find it hard to keep track of it all sometimes.
I wish they would tie it all together with a big "ka-boom" and then focus on the real story, which to me would be
the relationship between Invincible and his father. Learning the real truth as to why he (his dad) is on Earth.

I still have one and a half compendium to read so this might still be a possibility :exactly: Fingers crossed.
And please, no spoilers :1-1:

Keept reading and it's finally starting to grow on me.
It's just like with the Walking Dead, wasn't really feeling it at the beginning but kept at it and I'm glad I did.
Got a couple of hours of reading left on Invincible Compendium 1 and then swiftly on to Compendium 2. :)

Haha, quoting myself :monkey4 :monkey1

Got in my order from Archonia :yess:. My fav of the bunch would be the Avatar book, can't helpt it, I love the show to death :slap. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Star Wars bundles, great value for money IMO :).

Alright, looking for some non-superhero comic recommendations. I am currently keeping up with TWD, Red Sonja, and Crossed. I have read Y, Saga, TMNT, Morning Glories, DMZ, Vampirella, and Buffy stuff.

Looking for some less obvious ones, they can be current, or old.

The Wake is a good current series.

Sweet Tooth is also a great series. Ended at 40 issues. Will think about and post more shortly.

What did you think of "DMZ"?
Sounds quit interesting to me… :monkey1

I'm gonna recommend Revival to you then. It's an intriguing little Wisconsin Noir about the revival of a communities loved ones. I love it so far.

I have the first two volumes. It's really great.

Yeah, I've really enjoyed the first two volumes.

Just read Green Arrow 25. Wow, since Lemire took over this has just gotten better and better each month and I think it's now possibly tied as my favourite title with Snyder's Batman. Absolutely awesome and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it yet.

Just finished the last volume of Y The Last Man. I'm not sure how you can do any better than that. Not sure if I've ever read a book that has moved me more. 10 out of 10.

Any opinions on the Star Wars Legacy series revolving Cade Skywalker? The line ended already, but Dark Horse is repacking them as HC bundles and I might be tempted.

I just started Vector Prime of the New Jedi Order books so I can be ready for the movies if they are in that timeline. I normally stick to my favorite era the old republic and i only have two books left in that whole timeline and ill be finished!

Picked this little lot up from my LCS at the weekend...

Still not started on Forever Evil...waiting for the entire Arc to finish first & then have a marathon reading session when it's all here.

Also my excitement got the better of me the other day & I won this on Ebay for more than I can get it on Amazon :slap:gah::gah:

That said all I need now are the single issues that make up volume 3 & I have the entire run...the TPB for Vol 2 & 3 are ridiculous prices now so I've already scored all the single issues for volume 2 & a couple from 3 so it's just a few more to go & I'm done.

Actually thinking about the War of Kings & Realm of Kings arc...does anyone who's read them know what companion books are worth getting??

I already have the Trades for Road to War of Kings & War of Kings itself but Realm is all new & I think there are a few extra tie in books including Nova but not sure if I should worry too much or not.
