Is it like the DVD box-set that came out a few years ago? I read that they changed something in the episodes or something?

You definitely don't want the Protoculture Collection if you're interested in the original American versions.

Robotech—The Protoculture Collection contains the newly remastered edition of the series ADV began releasing a couple of years back. Much like the enraged outcries of Star Wars fans over additions to the holy original trilogy, Robotech viewers were shocked to hear additional sound effects and see amped-up visuals CGI'd on top of the original cel animation. Honestly, there's not much added, and the sound is vastly improved during the battles with the full surround effect. Mostly the "Remastered" title is a marketing device. The box claims "extra footage," but each addition lasts merely a second or two. You get to see "butts" in some shower scenes, and "guts" in the battles. The aggressive new surround sound mix only kicks in during the battles, and reverts back to a two-channel mono once the smoke clears for the dialogue scenes. The visual transfer is clear and colorful, but vertical lines still demonstrate some aliasing (they often look like stair steps).

Mine are the Legacy Collection which came out earlier. It's not remastered, but still looks good despite its age. These sets are a little more expensive since it's 9 different sets (3 for each Robotech series), but I wanted to get the versions I watched on TV.

Some of these Legacy sets can be picked up for cheap from Amazon Marketplace. That's where I'll look for the rest.

Thanks dude!!! :rock :duff

Awesome for 30 euro buddy!!!

Was it all the chatting about Leon we have done recently that made you get that ha ha ha

:lol That and the fact that it just was an awesome edition with the sleeve and everything.
Plus these 3 were pretty much the only ones that were worth getting IMO, because lots of others weren't so great or I had them on DVD already.
I've never seen Zombieland though, but I heard good things about it so I hope I won't be dissapointed! :)

Thanks bud!!! :hi5:
