You just getting that ? :impatient:

Just bought/preordered all 5 of this month's Criterion films on Blu-ray from Barnes and Noble.com.
They have a Buy 2, get 1 Free deal going on right now so it's almost like the 50% off with the site's current prices ($26 or $27). :yess::yess:
Got:
Army of Shadows
Robinson Crusoe on Mars
Naked Kiss
Shock Corridor
Broadcast News

Criterion is like an addiction. I've resisted up till now. The only blu-ray of theirs I have is Seven Samurai. I'm waiting for Brazil, one of my all-time favorite movies.

Crack-terion

I'm hooked now too. Not as bad a habit as UT, but one a month even at that price is bad enough.

It is my crack!!!!!!! :rotfl:rotfl:yess::yess:
But I get them usually when they go on sale, so it's no different than me getting new release Blu-rays of awesome current movies every week or so. :)

It's snowing so badly that I can't get out to get my Dances with Wolves blu. :(

Aw man, that sucks!! :(
Amazon didn't get my Social Network Blu-ray out in time (they were going to ship it yesterday but then decided not to, I'm assuming because of the weather), so I cancelled it and just picked it up at Best Buy today.

A little of both!!!! :rotfl
But yeah, I do love these artsy films. I've seen each one released so far on Blu-ray and enjoy them immensely.

:hi5:

I think so far the only Criterion i probably won't watch is Salo. That sh@t sounds a bit too weird for my taste. And after watching Walkabout, i don't think i will watch it again. All that animal killing put me off :( I might get that By Brakage set but i doubt it's something for me. But Axel Music got it on their Reward Points list and i'm close to having enough points so i can get it for free. I don't feel like paying $65-70 for it :D

Btw, anybody seen or heard of A Serbian Movie? That cuss is waaaayy to cussed up for me :cuckoo:

Yeah there are few I don't mind, but I can't see buying them all just to buy them.

Given that they aren't cheap helps my decision there.

Right now I know i want Seven Samurai and Thin Red Line.

I wish they would get out the Killer and redo that one the right way.

I am so hoping they release Notorious. One of my all time faves.

I think I just have to really like a movie to spend the kind of cash that these pieces cost and even them I tend to somewhat thrifty.
