I ordered mine through Bestbuy.com yesterday because I figured I wouldn't get their due to the weather. Anyway, I get the coupon TODAY, so....not sure the store will make it good for me when I get it next week. I've never tried it.

Picked up the 10th Anniversary Blu of "Memento" last night. Gonna watch it in a few. Saw this in the theater and have loved it ever since. I met Joey Pants a few years ago and asked him about his character of "Teddy" and about my ideas about who he really was, and he said to me while laughing, "I don't even have a ____ing idea who he was."

Anyway, that was my latest purchase.

So I just got an email from Criterion that says "This is to inform you that your backorder/special order has been canceled."

So all four blurays I ordered during the 50% off sale were cancelled, every single one of them! I guess its possible they ran out of stock with the big discount, but come on! All four? Dammit!

My order still shows as live in their online system, so I guess I will fire them off an email.

You know, after I emailed them it struck me that I should check the stock on these and two are indeed backordered now, but there are two which are still in stock (yes, the bluray). If Criterion cancels my entire order, it will leave a very sour taste in my mouth. Losing two would not be terrible, but come on...

You most likely received an automatic message from our warehouse as several titles have gone out of stock during the course of our recent sale. After a short window of time, orders that have not been filled are automatically canceled on their end. However, we have record of all orders and will be re-posting them as soon as our warehouse receives items back in stock!

Most items should be back in our warehouse by next week. If for any reason, you would rather not wait for the films to come back in stock, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you with cancellation of the order.

I might be headed to Target for my Bambi as well. Not sure if it will be worth the trip though. There's an extra disc in Target's but I'm not sure what it is. I can't order it online and use the coupon.
