I haven't seen Akira with this slip-cover. I have the tin-case from the first english DVD issue. So neener-neener.

I've had the Blu for about a year and it is one of the best transfers I've ever seen of any film.

I found this on my DVD shelf. Is this the same one?

Blu-ray came with a 32-page booklet about the history of Akira, interviews, and process.

Had to get this Blu-ray to go with my 1/6 Anime Grail

Wow, wish I didn't already have the blus, but being such a huge Alien fan I had to have them the day they came out. Plus, I guess it's okay because the egg is kind of lackluster. I really don't like it, especially the way the Alien is small, or the egg is big, and isn't it an Aliens alien? Seems all wrong.

But nice catch.

Thats ok I passed too. But since I got it for so cheap from amazon.uk a while ago, it does not bother me.

I got both today as well!! Nausicaa was a ______ to find. It was only at Target and they put out only 1 copy of it!
Best Buy and Walmart didn't even have it in stock. Hope you have an easier time finding it, fury.
