Just sent my others back. I should probably have it on Friday. In which case I won't be able to watch it until Sunday. :banghead:lol

You can't watch it on Sunday!? There's Football :lecture

I have this problem a lot. I'll spend a good 15 minutes looking at my shelf sometimes before giving up and looking on Netflix instaque.
~~Did you ever have problems finding a movie once you decided on which one to watch??? This happened a few times until I alphabetized everything.

Definitely! Sometimes i spend 30-45 min. just standing there clueless :lol

I don't have mine alphabetised, they are by genre (classics/favorites, animation, comedy...) but i know where all of them are. My mom gives me this crazy look sometimes when she walks in while i'm gaming asking for a movie and i say like "shelf 4, 13 movies in" :lol

I have the same thing that I sometimes spend 30 or more minutes to find a movie to watch. Once, I stood so long just watching my DVD's trying to find one to watch, that by the time I finally found one, I didn't have time to watch it anymore... I just stood there too long :duh :lol

I don't have my movies alphabethized or by genre. For some freaky reason I do know where al my movies are though. I've never have to look more than 30 seconds or so to find it. I also never bought a movie I already had, by mistake. If one would ask me to name all the movies I have, just from the top of my head, I'm sure I would forget some, but when I'm in a store browsing through all the DVD's I instantly know if I have them already.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl I've done that too and ended up just fast forwarding through some of it. I can usually name most of the movies I have, but I can't recite the entire collection off the top of my head.

I do the same thing, dude. You spend more time picking one out than actually watching one. Good to know we're all together with this problem. I thought it was just me. :lol

I guess it's the curse of having a large movie-collection...

With a grand collection, come many choices... :lol

the problem i have is not that i have too many choices(which i guess i do - according to my girlfriend) but that i'll stand there forever because i've already seen everything and i'm looking for that movie that i haven't seen too many times. So yeah i'll stand in fornt of my collection for long periods of time.

Exactly! It seems that you've seen everything you have a dozen times so it's hard to choose because it feels like you've just seen everything.

:lecture Same here!!!

I'll just stand there, replaying the DVDs I'm looking at in my head and if I remember to much about it I'll go and find another one. Needless to say this can be quite time consuming :lol

And then on top of that, sometimes I'll go through my entire collection, spend 30 minutes like you, and after all that, after going through all the movies I have (too many to even count) - I'll find NOTHING that I am in the mood to watch...

Doesn't happen often, but every now and then.

Yep. So then you try and find a movie on tv and get nothing. So you just waste the night flipping channels.

I have that too, but just like you, luckily not to often :)

Indeed...

I also have it sometimes that I decide to watch a movie, and after 5 minutes I know I picked the wrong one... So I learned that when that happens I can better stop watching it right then or otherwise I just like it less than I'd do if I really wanted to watch it...

Yeah, I do that also. You don't like a movie as much if you aren't in the mood to watch it.

Yeah, but sometimes when that happens, I start flipping channels, and stop on a movie that sounds interesting... and then I realize that I have it on DVD so I grab the movie and watch it the correct way (in its original aspect ratio, no commercials, surround sound etc...)

:lol Now that hasn't happened to me but that is awesome.

I don't have that many movies. Maybe 150 or so. But I usually stare at them for few and can't decide. It is because I have watched them all so many times. :lol
I'm glad that we are all together on this. I seriously thought it was just me until we all had this conversation. :lol We're awesome! :duff :lol
