I stopped counting when I started upgrading my DVD collection to Blu Rays and HD DVDs.

Same here.

I also donated several DVD's to my library for their DVD collection.

Picked up a mint, never-watched Videodrome DVD (US Criterion version) from a boot sale here in the UK today. £3.00 (equivalent of $5.00 US). Absolute bargain. Vintage Cronenberg "body horror" at its finest.

(And, yes, before anyone asks, my DVD player plays North American discs just fine. )

Who's buying First Class on blu ray this week?

There seems to be different covers at retailers. Target has a different looking cover on their AD that has Magneto, Xavier, Emma and Mystique, Best Buy seems to have the Pro X cover and Magneto cover (seperates) and Amazon has a cover of Pro X and Magneto together.

I'm waiting for reviews of the import steelbooks for First Class before I get it, just in case a disc is region free. Otherwise I'll wait till the flik goes down in price as it was "okay" and not "great".

The US release is Region Locked so there's a good chance it will be the same overseas.

I picked up Scarface too - it was the steelbook that hooked me. I generally don't buy just because of a steelbook, but after all - this IS Scarface!

Was there a version without the steelbook? I didn't see one at Best Buy or Fry's. But yeah, steelbook or not, I still would have gotten it anyways.

I was thinking about getting the UK box-set but after seeing a video review of it, i decided to just get the US version.

I have a question.
Why are some new Blu-Rays not sold on Tuesday,when new titles usually come out, but instead are sold on Friday? Example X-MEN 1st Class and STAR WARS.
It's not like they're waiting for a weekend box office total,why not sell it on Tuesday like normal?
