Just got Legend of Korra season 1 and 2!

Hit three different Best Buy's within 40 minutes of opening on Tuesday, and not one single GOTG SB on the shelves. It was kind of funny seeing people come in looking for the same thing you are, and without saying a word thinking WTF?

Longshot, but If anyone has a spare GOTG SB available, I have a NIP Avengers Blu SB I can trade for it.

I only have 1 DVD, and that is Bubble Boy. Shame they don't make that on blu ray

My friend is going to love the Sin City.

I love the Bounty Killer. Inside art is gorgeous. It's very 80's movie and no classic, but fun.

I have Dragonslayer on DVD, because there is no bluray.

Dragonslayer was on HD-DVD and it looks great. You will be happy when it hits Blu.

A lot of things come together with a steel like GotG selling out so fast. First, you have the big surprise hit of the year. Second, it's a movie that tends to be the right crowd for a collectible anything - do a steel for Beautiful Mind the year it came out, and you wouldn't have the same issue. Third, they did a very cool looking steel, mimicking the Walkman. Throw in some of the other things people mentioned - cheap price, early pre-order, well known to folks that it was coming - and you get a perfect storm of demand.

I believe there's a TMNT steel coming too, and I predict it won't be as nearly hard to find. I'm Captain Obvious!

You never know, I think stores will order less an given it also has been up for pre-order pickup, it may be the same issue.
