After enjoying the start of the final season of Lost, I now have to decide if I'm going to buy all the seasons on blu in anticipation of the end of season 6, or wait to see if they come out with some amazing, super duper version with everything. Of course, the problem with that will be the price. It's one thing to spend $300 on 6 seasons when you do it $50 at a time, and quite another to plop down all $300 at once.

Hmmmm - they're on sale for $45 a season right now at Best Buy...

I'm not sure if you're doing DVD or BluRay ... but, for DVDs keep your eye on Target. They often have huge sales on TV seasons for about $20 a pop. I don't really do Lost ... but I bought Seasons 2-4 of House for $18.99 each last month (already had 1 and 5, but they were on sale too). I've seen Season 1-7 of 24 for $15 to $20 a piece there as well. I'm sure Lost goes on sale there periodically. You may very well be able to get 5 seasons for $100.

They announced a complete series set that will have an extra disc with some extra crap. I got seasons 1-5 on blu-ray for $100. I will stick with my individual seasons and just buy the 6th when it comes out and save myself a hundred bucks or so. I never watch the extra content anyways.

I am kind of upset I missed that deal... was that regular DVD ?

Hmmm - $229 SRP probably means under $200 when it first hits the street. I may have to wait!

Oh, I read that wrong - Blu is $279 SRP. Hmm still less than buying the first five seasons on blu now and then getting the sixth...

It's sold out on Blu-ray at my local Best Buy and Wal-mart. Dangit!

Ouch. I hate it when that happens. I'm surprised Wal Mart would even carry it though. Are you gonna get the first one on Blu??? I can only afford one right now and decided to go with the sequel. (too many games coming out lately so my allowance is strained )

I don't think I'll get the first one on Blu. I have the DVD and really don't think this is something I want to double dip on. I was surprised too that Wal-Mart had it. Wal-Mart's Price for Ong Bak 2 on Blu was $19.99, Best Buy's was $17.99. I hope they restock and these prices stick.

I haven't watched the bonus stuff yet, but this is from the CD case.......

"Shootin' Zombies with Ruben Fleischer" where he talks about creating the slow-motion, zombie attacking sequences and shows some never before seen footage of other zombie attacks.

and

Behind the scenes with the cast and crew of Zombieland.

The "Nut up or Shut Up" Edition from BestBuy.....

Got to watch Zombieland last night - kick ass. Definitely a great psuedo-zombie flick, right up there with Shaun of the Dead for it's humor.

Got the last king of scotland on bluray. It should be a good watch. I am also one of those unlucky few that can't find Zombieland on bluray...
