That was the reason that I didn’t buy the set from a few years ago with “Jason Goes to Hell” and “Jason X” included. They really half-assed it with some of the extras and only included the R rated cut of “Jason Goes to Hell.” Although now that set may be the most comprehensive one we ever get because I believe the rights to the Paramount produced entries have all gone back to Paramount, with New Line only retaining the rights to “Jason Goes to Hell,” “Jason X,” and “Freddy Vs Jason.” It would be great if one day Scream Factory was given a chance to put out collector’s editions of some of them. Maybe even director’s cuts. A lot of the Paramount ones really got butchered by the MPAA.

I would love for scream factory to be able to do them. I know must of the extra footage got destroyed on the movies but it would be nice to remastered and the extended versions of movies that they could do.
