Your latest DVD or Blu-Ray

Do tell ... I really hate going to Wal-Mart to begin with; and esp if I find that it was The Transporter or Paul Blart marked down.

I stopped at Walmart today and had quite a few blu-rays for $8.00.

You know what? I was at Best Buy last week and picked up Law Abiding Citizen on DVD for $9.99. They also had the Blu-ray version for $19.99. I know Best Buy marks down the price of new releases the first week it is released, but never this low. Are the prices of DVDs and blu-rays finally going down? Or is this temporary?

I didn't pay that close attention because I wasn't planning on getting any. I do know Crank was in there. 2010....Wyatt Earp....Beetlejuice....One of the Ocean's movies.....I can't remember. Sorry!

Our Best Buy sometimes has price wars with Walmart on new discs. They do price matching and if they have alot of people doing that, they'll drop the price automatically.

I think they, and Walmart too, are going to have to start ordering more blu-rays than DVDs because today both Walmart and Best Buy were sold out of Cirque Du Freak on blu-ray. There were plenty of DVDs.

I had the Mist, Unforgiven and Hellboy II in my hands at Wal-mart yesterday, $15 each. Didn't pull the trigger though - I hate buying stuff there. Still, I may end up there again today and my resolve tends to weaken. Anyone get the Unforgiven blu (this is the one with the gold framed slipcover)? I'm wondering if the transfer is worth it.

They also had Speed Racer on blu for $10. Not a bad price for an okay flick.

I broke down and bought all 5 POTA flicks on blu with the one day deal at BestBuy online:

$46 is pretty damn cheap for the full set, but it's still a lot of cash. But I'm a sucker for the originals, and these transfers are supposed to be quite good.
