FYI...the ad scan got posted at DVDTalk for Target. Toy Story 1 & 2 are price at 22.99 and not the original price that was talked about being 19.99 each. The $10 off for both is correct.

Latest purchase:

The collectors edition of THE MIST on bluray.

A greatly under-rated movie. The collectors edition has a black and white version on it. This is the directors original vision.

I haven't watched the b/w through yet, but I checked a few scenes, and it makes some of the dodgy CGI look a lot better, and it just fits the whole feel of the movie better.

Some Blu-rays are region locked, but this is Region free. Watched some of it last night with my daughter and it looks amazing. I can't see how it'll look any better when Disney releases it in the US next year.

It's $24.99 at Amazon now, but I'll probably wait until it gets around $20. I'm cheap, too.

Princess and the Frog!

Wait, that was for my daughters....not that cool really.

For me....it was Predator for $9 at Target. I've heard a lot of bad things about the Blu version not being that great of a transfer but I don't own a DVD version of it and for $9 you can't beat it.

I watched it on Wednesday of this week and it was good, nothing phenomenal but the way the guy at Target was going on about how bad it was I didn't think it was horrible. Some scenes looked like HD quality, some just upgraded DVD.

Can't wait for TS 1 and 2 next week though and I just read we're supposed to be getting the Alien Quadrilogy this Christmas which is AWESOME! Absolutely cannot wait to see Aliens on blu ray! It's my favorite movie of all time.

Now if we can just get Blade II....that would make this year complete for me, except for SW of course!

I have mine reserved at TRU because I received $15 off a current Disney DVD if I reserved through them and I have a link for a $5 off coupon from Disney. Same discount possibly?

With the Target sale price of buy both for $30, plus these two coupons, you should be able to get both blus for ten bucks each! If you and someone else are going to see TS3 at the theater, there's an $8.50 off coupon in each one as well, making your total cost $1.50 each. Now THAT's a bargain!

I found an even better deal for Toy Story 1 and 2 Blu-rays regarding coupons. BUT it is only good if you are a Disney Rewards Member. Just log onto the Disney rewards site and enter the UPCs from your VHS or DVD copies of Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2, and you get 2 coupons for $10 off each!!! Much better than the $5 off coupon (my opinion of course )

So at Target, each one is $22.99. You automatically get $10 off for purchasing both, so the total will be $35.98 plus tax. Use the two $10 off coupons and the total will be around $16-$18 total for both movies on Blu-ray!!!
