Regarding Toy Story on Blu....

Might have found a slightly better deal than the Target one that's been mentioned.

I reserved mine at TRU and I believe the last day to do this was Monday, but I received $15 off a current Disney DVD with no exclusions. I bought Pocahontas, ugh, but it was $5 overall and my daughter has been wanting it forever. ANYWAYS, could have used that on Bug's Life or Monster's INC. on BLU of course.

So, that said, I was then wondering what the price would be for the movies since it wasn't listed on the reserve. In todays ad they are showing them as the same deal as Target, buy both, get an additional $10 off, which makes them $16.99 a piece. Then add in the coupon from the previous post that can score you $10 off each (or the other coupon for $5 off each if this is what you have) and you should come out around $14 (or $24) + for both.

That is if my math is right, it's been wrong in the past, haha.

Plus you get the TS 3 movie ticket offer with them as well.

Pretty sweet, looks like I'm keeping my reserve for the TS's at TRU!

When Up came out, I was able to buy Up and Monsters, Inc. for $5 both. I used a Target coupon and two manufacturers coupons. Later I found out they were not supposed to do that.

I have all my coupons in hand and am going to try this on Tuesday. I'll post whether it worked or not but I'm guessing if it does then it will be cashier error for not reading the coupons as it says not valid with other offers.

Crossing my fingers! :)

They accept a Target coupon and a manufacturer coupons but not two. In my case I used two manufacturer coupons bringing the total to $5, I guess $2.50 per Blu-Ray.

I am wondering though, I want to buy them at Best Buy for the simple fact that I have $5 Reward Zone cash. They also have the buy both movies get $10 off offer but their prices are $24.99. I wonder if they would match Target price ($22.99) while allowing the $10 off deal. In that case I would end up paying $10.98 for both movies.

just got the predator 1/commando 2 pack. for 20 bucks, not bad deal. but lately ive really been on a role with my blu ray collection, which is getting bigger pretty fast. still sucks that there are still many movies that i love that are not yet on blu ray yet, but most of my favorites are. i just want my star wars, LOTR's EE's, indiana jones movies on blu ray. i also want superman 2 (the ORIGINAL version, not the richard donner cut) on blu ray. but im sure in time they will, hopefully not too long though.

anyway, so far my collection consists of:

POTC 1, 2 and 3
Ghosbusters
Sleepy Hollow
Robin Hood:prince of Thieves
Rambo:First Blood Part 2
Rambo 3
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
T2 (skynet edition)
M:I 2
Commando
Indiana Jones 4
Superman: The Movie
Rocky:The Undisputed Collection
The Batman Anthology

the next movie i'd surprisingly like to get on blu ray is Gone with the Wind. i really love old movies and i saw it fully for the first time last year and loved it, so i think thats a worthy film for blu ray, im sure it'll look fantastic.

My BB's have these big signs up in the front of their store about how they'll match ANY advertised price so I think you might have a good chance at that.

So you are saying NORMALLY they accept a manufacturers coupon and a store coupon, right?

Then you say you used 2 manufacturers coupons so you are saying you got lucky here right?

That's what I'm going to try...just flop all the coupons on the counter and when or if they don't work I'll act all surprised. Worth a shot for sure!

Correct, they only accept one coupon of each. A Target coupon and a manufacturer coupon. The cashier I guess didn't know that. Later on a friend of mine tried it and they didn't allow him. In other words I got lucky I got a cashier that either didn't know the policy or didn't care.

I will try Best Buy on Tuesday.

Wish there was a Target coupon as well. The only one there they have is for UP and a few others. $3 off.

Nice, well good luck to you man and good luck to me. I'll report back on Tuesday after I purchase them.

I found an even better deal for Toy Story 1 and 2 Blu-rays regarding coupons. BUT it is only good if you are a Disney Rewards Member. Just log onto the Disney rewards site and enter the UPCs from your VHS or DVD copies of Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2, and you get 2 coupons for $10 off each!!! Much better than the $5 off coupon (my opinion of course :lol )
https://disney.eprize.net/movierewards/index.tbapp?page=gwp/toystory1and2

So at Target, each one is $22.99. You automatically get $10 off for purchasing both, so the total will be $35.98 plus tax. Use the two $10 off coupons and the total will be around $16-$18 total for both movies on Blu-ray!!!

Oh, and since I'm nice here are the UPC codes from previous versions. Just enter them like any other codes you get.

UPCs from the most recent DVD editions:
TS 10th Anniversary Edition: 786936294507
TS2 2-Disc Special Edition: 786936294521
Ultimate Toy Box: 717951005816

UPCs for the VHS toy stories:
Toy story vhs 786936670332
Toy story 2 vhs 786936127683
