you mean the extended editions? if so, yeah me too. im not double dipping for the versions of the films i dont want. i just hope they dont take there time releaseing the extended versions that everyone really wants.

Yeah same here, 'cause I'm a da** completist but it's killing me! I just wish I could find comfort in a release date for the extended versions but nothing that I can find yet, haha.

PLEASE post up a quick review of the LOTR Blu's on here. I would LOVE to read someone's opinion on how good they looked, etc.

What were the issues with Gladiator? Did they fix them or just say it is what it is?!?!

I just hope Aliens comes out looking great! I read that the Quadrilogy for the Aliens series is coming out in December...here it comes, my first wookie boogie!

The Gladiator transfer was far from perfect. Hounded by DNR and EE.

While it still is not terrible, it is far from reference.

First word on FOTR is the same, but we shall see.

I'd like to thank Bannister for the coupon tips. I was able to get Disney's Princess and the Frog, Toy Story 1 & 2 on blu ray for less than $7.00 for all three!!!!

We have only one toysrus here in San Antonio and I think we cleared them out of the bluray case editions. lol The manager was not happy with us.

I just bought that at Target about 3 weeks ago for $9 on Blu. The guy was going on and on about how bad it was on Blu Ray but my problem was that I didn't own it period so for $9 I figured what the hell.

Turned out it was pretty good. I mean nothing phenomenal (still kind of compare everything I watch in Blu to Hellboy 2 as that was a great looking Blu IMO) and some parts didn't look that upgraded but for $9 I got my moneys worth.

I have all my coupons in hand and am going to try this on Tuesday. I'll post whether it worked or not but I'm guessing if it does then it will be cashier error for not reading the coupons as it says not valid with other offers.

BTW, the $10 and the $5 coupon didn't work together. Cashier was too smart for that one!

I think so. I mean, it's still an improvement (as was Predator), but not the leaps and bounds expected.

Same here, just got my Toy Story Blu-rays. $16.98 total at Target.

I got mine at Best Buy for $22 something. They wouldn't take both $10 and $5 coupons, but I figured they wouldn't. I wanted to go to Target but it's just too far away to make the savings work.

Yeah heard about this locally as well! My buddy tried to pick it up at the same TRU I grabbed mine from, about 3 hours after, and they were all sold out as well.
