I'll be picking up the theatrical LOTR on blu.

Since my lunch is taking up with a meeting at work, I ran over to Target early and snagged Toy Story 1 and 2. Can't wait to check them out tonight! I had no trouble with the DMR coupons, so the final price was $16 for both, but since there's a coupon for $8.50 towards TS3 in each, they technically gave them to me plus a dollar.

I've heard some folks have also gotten Target to price match the TRU price, which saves you a couple bucks more, but it may take some effort.

Yeah same here, 'cause I'm a da** completist but it's killing me! I just wish I could find comfort in a release date for the extended versions but nothing that I can find yet, haha.

PLEASE post up a quick review of the LOTR Blu's on here. I would LOVE to read someone's opinion on how good they looked, etc.

i read somewhere that somewhere on the LOTR's blu ray disc they will have a "preview" of the extended versions. is this true?

I was able to grab Toy Story 1&2, as well as Donnie Darko for $27 after tax --- thank you Target.

Plus TS1&2 come with a TS3 preview disc and FREE tickets to see the film.

Got mine for the same price as well and once you go to the movie and use the free tickets the BD are pretty much free.

Holy molly, you are right! I had not taken into consideration the movie tickets. That way the it is like if they are paying us to get the Blu-Rays
