I don't think anyone would care enough about Van Helsing to be disappointed in being a crappy figure or not :lol

I still think Van Helsing is a great figure that still holds up well. :monkey1

For my personal choice it would be Indy as he was my first $100 figure and the proto looked so much better. The HS is still great though you just need a really good repaint but the likeness is def there.

Just realized this was for Sideshow figures... so my Aliens Warrior choice is null and void :lol

So I'd probably also go with Indiana Jones; so much promise but a bad figure. Funny too as one of Sideshow's best (Gandalf the Grey) came out at the same time :huh

Star Wars and LotR humans. Started off with the first 6-7 figs from both collections, but after opening the packages, setting out a couple and seeing the uneven sculpts, inconsistent scales, terrible paint apps and cheap materials for some of the clothing, all were sold off. I'd even gotten a few custom heads from Darren C. which were nicely done, and was even looking at cutting off some of the GG heads to get better headsculpt representations, but the bodies were still an issue. LotR has since dead ended I guess, but I believe the Star Wars has gotten quite a bit better, and I have picked up a few of the troopers and pre-ordered Bossk while waiting to see what happens with HT. Had these been twice the price but closer to PF quality and consistent in scale, I'd have a full 12" collection right now.

On a positive note, Sideshow have upped their game considerably paint apps as included ... (by and large)

Terminator 2, T-800 Arnold , even back then I knew it was just way off ! I thought Sarah Connors and the T-1000 were much better.
