I quite liked Hatchet 1, good update to the whole woods killer concept. Much like House of 1000 Corpses did a good job modernizing Texas Chainsaw.

But the 3rd was nonsense. Like when he's finally revealed to the group, you have a heavily armed SWAT team there to take him down because of all the people he's killed, he's also killed several cops from their specific group and is killing one in front of them and they rush him and try to pull him off instead of firing a single shot. One of the dumbest things I've seen in a horror movie. Haven't had a chance to watch the 2nd yet but I hope it's better.

Horror and common sense don't mix.

Is it? REC2 was awesome but I don't hear good things about REC3.

it sucks that these films are never on tv and they have never hit Netflix either. I still haven't seen 2 or 3. It's too bad Quarantine didn't follow them after the first. That one was creepy to me for sure.

I enjoyed Quarantine a lot. I would have enjoyed the ending even more if the damn trailer didn't spoil it for me. The second they showed her through the camera (in night vision), I already knew what was going to happen next.

rec 2 was awesome. think CQB and everything coming out of the woodwork.

rec 3 was sad a POS movie. it was bordering comedy.
