The new Halloween set was released?

Yessir. It has a couple of flaws, but it is awesome. I have the deluxe 15 disc version.

Rec 3 was alright but it went in a totally different direction from the first 2 films. It went from super serious and scary to....campy.

I liked it a lot. If the first two are better, I'll definitely try to watch them.

it's not bad worth a watch, some good practical effects which I dig. the original is up there as one of my all time favorite Halloween flicks that movie gave me nightmares as a kid.

I decided to watch Edge of Tomorrow even though it isn't horror because that movie is amazing.

I quite liked Hatchet 1, good update to the whole woods killer concept. Much like House of 1000 Corpses did a good job modernizing Texas Chainsaw.

But the 3rd was nonsense. Like when he's finally revealed to the group, you have a heavily armed SWAT team there to take him down because of all the people he's killed, he's also killed several cops from their specific group and is killing one in front of them and they rush him and try to pull him off instead of firing a single shot. One of the dumbest things I've seen in a horror movie. Haven't had a chance to watch the 2nd yet but I hope it's better.

haha yeah, overall it's just cheesey fun, with inventive over the top kills
