I am probably gonna start watching my usual Halloween night movies early this year. We are going to The Evil Dead Musical on Halloween now.

Just a few more since I last posted (been way too busy):

Tremors
Thinner
Silver Bullet
Friday the 13th ('09)
Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday

Does The Walking Dead count?

For anyone that hasn't seen them yet, the new season (5th) just started. Check out:

Ep. 1 - No Sanctuary
Ep. 2 - Strangers

I watched, and by watched I meant fast forwarded (A LOT), Bride of Chucky. I watched more of that though than I did Seed of Chucky. I watched that movie in about 7 minutes. Today I need to get through Haven and then probably Friday the 13th pt. 2.

Also just bought f13 blu collection, watched The Final Chapter so far, just a break in my Halloween marathon. Now at Resurrection. Ugh.

And for Halloween night:

- Halloween '78 (again)

- Trick R Treat

Finally got my hands on a Blu Ray of the Halloween 6 Producers cut and while I realize that this version wouldn't have been up for any Academy Awards either, it seems to be a significant improvement over the theatrical release from what I've seen. So far I'm impressed with the better music and the less is more approach in terms of blood and gore. Can't wait to sit down and see the whole movie this weekend.

I'll give Halloween 6 (Curse of Michael Myers) a watch again, but it's going to be hard. The whole Cult of Thorn concept really took me out of the movie. It just seemed like the writers were trying too hard.

To their credit, they were just working with the steaming pile that was left from 5 where the whole Thorn thing started.:lol From everything I've heard there wasn't a set plan or direction for the Thorn storyline when 5 ended.
