Yes, I love the look. He looks like he came straight out of hell. The night scenes are definitely awesome because of his glow.

One of my favorite scenes is when he first does the atomic breath during the daytime. A massive amount of air out of his mouth, gushing between the buildings and destroying everything that wasn't cemented to the ground. I had no idea what he was doing or what to expect. Next, you hear the air ignite and he's breathing fire. Then the final stage. Purple nuclear juice with a nice sonic pitch to it! You can hear it making a constant laser-blast noise. I loved that scene! :rock

Agreed, the ending was not great by any means. But this one is screaming for a sequel. I doubt Toho will leave it like this.

Definitely going to get a sequel at some point. It was a good addition to the series. I'd like to get some collectibles from the film but a lot of the figures are only being sold in Japan so Neca is my only hope at this point and to go on eBay to get a Bandai figure. Banepreso is out of the context and x-plus I'm not sure if we will get it here. Hopefully we get a Blu-ray release at some point too. I did enjoy it. When I first walked out I just kept saying interesting because it was so different but different is good. Glad the king is back. :rock

When I watched this, the subtitles were half cut off. I need the bluray so I can understand what all those political figures were saying. LOL!

That was a lot of fun watching H2 with you and Flosi over the many miles.

I needed that. :exactly:

Yes! I noticed that too! :hi5:

It got me in the mood for some Halloween, so what I did was pop in Halloween II and I've got Season of the Witch right after.
Carpenter's classic will have to wait until we're closer to the 31st. :)

Me as well. Every year without fail, this is Oct 31st. No substitutions: Elvira - Mistress of the Dark, Trick R Treat, Halloween.

None of them are allowed to be watched beforehand.

Just watched Bride of Frankenstein last night and Son of Frankenstein today. Making my way through the Frankenstein legacy bluray collection.

These movies really look great, restored and on bluray. So glad I picked it up.
