We're all getting in some great films. AMC is currently marathoning the Halloween films. Have at it! II is on now and of course, III next.

Yes! I noticed that too! :hi5:

It got me in the mood for some Halloween, so what I did was pop in Halloween II and I've got Season of the Witch right after.
Carpenter's classic will have to wait until we're closer to the 31st. :)

Ryan, share your thoughts on this.
I'd like to know what you think.
If you haven't already, I posted my review in the Shin Godzilla thread in the Movies forum.

Enjoy the movie!
I posted my thoughts a little bit on the movie but I didn't want to spoil it but I will say I enjoyed it for what it is. It wasn't your typical Godzilla flick but it was a cool approach. I can talk more over pm if you want about it? I don't want to post spoilers or anything.

I think you and I are probably the only ones here that care about this kind of ****! :)

Post away! :lol :lol

:lol Well I think what I give highly about the film is the human aspect. Best human characters in a Godzilla film. Godzilla itself I enjoyed his final form more then his first 2. They really weren't the greatest. I liked the cinematography and the effects were pretty good and how huge Godzilla looked, Ending was not the greatest but I did like the creativity of how they took him out. I believe this was just a set up movie for a sequel to be coming at some point. favorite scene has to be when the whole city goes dark and you see him glowing orange, then the US bombs Godzilla and he shoots his beam out of his spines/dorsal plates, mouth and then goes orange and burns up and destroys everything. Coolest scene ever. You saw the devastation of the people and how horrified they looked. Godzilla definitely had a mean look and I welcome it.

Yes, I love the look. He looks like he came straight out of hell. The night scenes are definitely awesome because of his glow.

One of my favorite scenes is when he first does the atomic breath during the daytime. A massive amount of air out of his mouth, gushing between the buildings and destroying everything that wasn't cemented to the ground. I had no idea what he was doing or what to expect. Next, you hear the air ignite and he's breathing fire. Then the final stage. Purple nuclear juice with a nice sonic pitch to it! You can hear it making a constant laser-blast noise. I loved that scene! :rock

Agreed, the ending was not great by any means. But this one is screaming for a sequel. I doubt Toho will leave it like this.
