I’ve been reading through this thread and there has been a lot of discussion about the Halloween movies. I personally am a big fan of Halloween 3 and it scared the cr@p out of me when I was a little kid. The story behind Halloween 3 departing from the Michael Meyers theme is very interesting. Wikepedia explained that “John Carpenter and Debra Hill wanted to turn the brand of Halloween into an Anthology series with a new Halloween season-themed sequel each year. According to the director, Tommy Lee Wallace, "there are enough stories in All Hallows Eve that you could go on for years and years and years doing fresh ideas and stories about this phenomenon and this was supposed to be the first in a long series". After the film's disappointing critical reception and box-office grosses, the antagonist character of Meyers was brought back in Halloween 4".

Yesterday I watched Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (amazing!), Carrie, 5ive Girls, Creepshow 2 (just Old Chief Woodenhead and The Raft) and then The House at the End of the Street.

Was a fun day indeed.

I had heard of the movie Human Centipede but I didn't really know what it was about. I never looked into it. I had only heard whispers about it. I thought it might be something like Slither (which was not good) so I thought I would give it a try.

I will never, ever, ever finish that film. EVER! I love horror, I love grotesque, I love blood, guts and gore. I do not however like twisted and downright f'ed up.

Anyone else see this (and if you got all the way through, wow) and have an opinion?

I fast forwarded through a lot of it and then stopped when they were a chain. We should probably not actually talk about it cause the other thread was closed...So, onto brighter things.

However...if you haven't seen it, do not do it!!

Today I think I will watch Poltergeist II cause it's on Netflix instant.

I thought instead of starting with Poltergeist I would start with Hemlock Grove just to get a couple of episodes in.

Digging it quite a bit so far!

Glad you are enjoying it! I really liked the show too and picked up the novel it is based on to read through in October!

Your comments actually make me want to watch it. :lol

I've seen the cover to the DVD at Walmart, but I passed on it because it looked lame. Didn't seem to be something that would scare me. But it's probably more disturbing than anything else.
