Yeah, I know they're really kiddy but they've been a huge part of Halloween for the past 24 years of my life. I watch then with my soon to be wife (getting married on 10/24!) And I can't wait to share them with my kids someday!

my 2 kiddy Halloween movies are The Ghost and Mr Chicken & Private Eyes :lol

Oh my! Are you referring to the Knotts/Conway Private Eyes?

I want to buy that so badly! Havn't seen it in many years but remember watching it over and over as a kid.

Now watching Wes Craven's Dracula II, but this thing is ridiculous.
If someone doesn't get bitten or a blouse pop open soon, I'm turning it off.

I watched C.H.U.D. yesterday. I was terrified by the previews as a kid and never watched it until yesterday. It wasn't as bad as it looked like it was going to be at the start. Monsters were cool. Some good scares throughout. Daniel Stern's performance was great. John Heard was pretty weak.

thats the one. Still a fun watch.
"Mr Chicken" is Knotts as well.

Really? I've seen it quite a few times, and just appreciate it as an alternate possibility to the zombie apocalypse. Not my favorite sure, but still fair.

I watched Creepshow (skipped the bugs) and Dreamscape, which was another 80's movie I missed out on. It was a lot better than C.H.U.D., but they both brought me back to that time equally. Dennis Quaid reminded me of a cross between Harrison Ford and Malcolm McDowell. Weird.

Creepshow is my all-time #1 favorite horror movie. Why skip the bugs?
